**Times Academy,** a fresh and energetic English language college, provides courses in General English, English for Academic Purposes, Test Preparation and English for High School Preparation to international students.

We are currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic teachers to join our team. Shifts are available in the mornings and evenings.

Prospective teachers need to meet the following criteria:

- a degree or diploma of at least three years full-time or equivalent (teaching or other); and
- a suitable TESOL qualification (100 contact hours face-to-face or equivalent distance education plus 6 hours supervised and assessed teaching practice)

**Teaching duties**
- Preparing & conducting classes in basic to advanced English language skills for ELICOS programs.
- Diagnosing & assessing the extent of ELICOS students’ language difficulties & adapting lessons in relation to these needs
- Administering & assessing tests & assignments
- Monitoring & recording student progress
- Keeping students regularly informed of their assessed progress
- Writing reports on student progress for relevant stakeholders (students, parents, etc.)
- Classroom management; including the establishment & maintenance of an inclusive & supportive learning environment

**Administration duties**
- Maintaining accurate attendance records
- Maintaining accurate records of assessment results
- Maintaining records of daily lesson content

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
