We are seeking a permanent Part Time Therapeutic Residential support worker for an ongoing,
**27.0 hour per fortnight** opportunity to support children with a disability living in out of home care at our new service located in
**Bell Park**.

**What you will need**
- A passion for supporting people to live their best lives
- Highly developed problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A current Victorian Drivers License
- Victorian Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Or willing to obtain one)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Or willing to obtain one)
- Full vaccination status

**To be successful for this position, applicants must be qualified to or be willing to enrolled into a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and out of home care). Successful applicants requiring this qualification will be enrolled into the course by the Program Manager at Gateways. This is a great opportunity to upskill and further develop your skills and experience**

**At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. The roster for this position is as follows**:
**CAYS0223 - 26.5hrs per fortnight.**

**Week 1**:
**Friday**:3.00pm-1.00pm
**& Sleepover**

**Saturday**:7.00am-9.00am

**Week 2**:
**Saturday**:9.00am-5.00pm

**Sunday**:9.00am-5.00pm

**2 Hour team meeting per fortnight.**

If you have lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months in the last 10 years, you will be required to supply an international police check from the country where you lived. Employment cannot commence until this check is received and assessed.

Shortlisted applicants will also be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’ prior to attending induction. This is a pre-employment requirement and if not completed, employment will not proceed.
