**Responsibilities**:
**Health, Safety and Risk**
- Ensure individual compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, Macmahon and Client instructions, policies, procedures and practices
- Ensure that the contract is managed in accordance with its terms and conditions and that Macmahon's interests are protected and enhanced
- Ensure early notification to senior management of the evolution of any commercial, subcontract issue or conflict
- Effectively manage risk and opportunity on the Project

**Technical/Operational**
- To perform and ensure an effective cost control function for ongoing Project
- Ability to interpret contracts, manage financial risk, estimate and forecast
- Maintain current cost control database
- Review proposed schedule changes with construction personnel, client and contractors
- Maintain Project Risk register in collaboration with Project Director
- Ensure Daily Report Sheets are signed off every day
- Issue reports in the required format to the Project and senior management as required
- Assist with preparation of claims and EoT submissions
- Feedback lessons learned into the business and ensure that any key learnings are implemented for future work

**Commercial/Financial**
- Ensure work is done correctly the first time to the acceptable standard so there is no rework
- Review and maintain procurement register and incorporate costs within forecast
- Prepare monthly CVR with accurate cost vs revenue figures
- Maintain records of cost and time with regard to variations and claims and incorporate into forecast
- Prepare monthly payment claims, ensuring their accuracy and integrity within the contract timeframe
- Establish, maintain, monitor and update accurate and robust monthly cost forecasts to complete in conjunction with the site management team
- Ensure that all plant and labour on site is accounted for and reported to Client for payment
- Ensure that monthly cost and revenue recovery is reported and reviewed to meet cost and forecasting requirements

**People Management**
- Ensure Site and Project personnel are aware of their responsibilities with regard to reporting and capturing expenditure, changes and variations

**Team Contribution**
- Support employees and contractors to comply with all relevant policies and procedures
