**Blue Mountains Grammar School** (BMGS) is a co-educational Christian School in the Anglican tradition for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. **Employment Overview**
- Permanent Full-Time OR Part-Time
- Based at BMGS Wentworth Falls campus
- Preferred start: Term 1 2025
- Salary in accordance with the MEA

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging lessons that integrate both theoretical and practical learning;
- Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and student learning outcomes;
- Create and assess a range of practical and theoretical tasks to measure student progress and skills development;
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive workshop environment;
- Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs and learning abilities;
- Guide students in the use of tools, machinery, and design software, promoting safe practices and technical skill development;
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assessments and communicate student progress to parents and guardians;
- Foster positive relationships with students, supporting their wellbeing and personal growth both inside and outside the classroom.

**Requirements**:

- The ability to teach Design & Technology and Industrial Technology - Timber is preferred;
- NESA accreditation to teach in NSW;
- A current NSW Working With Children Check;
- Full Australian work rights.
