**POSITION OVERVIEW**
- Melbourne CBD based office.
- 5 days per week (1FTE) ongoing.
- Generous not-for-profit salary packaging and annual leave loading.
- $88, 761.92 + Superannuation (SCHADS Award 2010 - Level 5 pay point depending on qualifications and experience).

Vacro is an independent non-profit organisation working with people caught in the criminal justice system and their families. Founded in 1872, we are Victoria's oldest and only specialised criminal justice reintegration service. We provide reintegration, family, and employment support that enables people to create new beginnings for themselves and their families.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Act as Vacro's Data Officer within the ARC Program to collect and analyse quantitive and qualitive data sets, and reporting data for Client Services programs with a specific focus on the ARC program. Contribute to solving issues in relation to data and communicate the data to management, funding bodies and other stakeholders.

Liaise with InfoXchange to maintain the Case Management System and assist the analysis to assess data quality and meaning. Continually review the underlying process and data, recommending improvements along with your capacity to partner and communicate effectively with the business by using analytical tools to extract data, reporting, and participation in partner stakeholder meetings will be highly valued.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Understanding of social science and measurement, including self-report survey data.
- Proven experience in data collection, retrieval, cleansing & reporting.
- Ability to synthesise, analyse and describe insights from data.
- Strong conceptual skills, including production of descriptive statistics and multi-series frequency charts.
- Demonstrated capacity to work across Microsoft suite of products and customised databases including advanced Excel.
- Ability to confidently engage non-technical staff to understand benefits of data collection.
- Experience working with organisation-wide reporting requirements and data sources to contribute to reports.
