Engeny is a specialist environmental and engineering consultancy with 180 staff across 6 locations in Australia.

We’re looking for an accounts all-rounder with 3-5 years of solid bookkeeping experience to join our head office finance team in Brisbane to meet the demands of our business expansion.

**About the Role**

Joining our existing team of 3, this is a newly created position that will initially focus on payroll and accounts payable, then broaden and change overtime. Initial tasks will include:

- Setting up new employees in payroll
- Running leave reports
- Processing twice monthly payroll for professional staff
- Processing superannuation and PAYGW payments
- Supplier invoice entry and payment
- Processing credit card payments
- Ad hoc support across a range of activities that will include EOM and employee share ownership tasks

The role is hands-on and diverse, and you will be providing support to our Financial Controller, Finance Officer and Accountant.

**About You**
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping (minimum)
- Experience with MYOB payroll essential
- Competent in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, data sorting)
- Possess and demonstrate strong people and time management skills
- Experience working in professional services environment advantageous
- Enthusiastic and can work autonomously or as part of a team with support from senior staff and colleagues
