Asset Information Officer position available within the Brisbane Public Sector area.

**Your new company**
Our client is Public Sector Authority who are looking to engage an Asset Information Management Officer. While reporting to the AIM Manager, you will provide guidance and advice to all users and stakeholders, surrounding asset information.

**Your new role**
In your new role, you will be managing information on physical assets, monitor the quality and provide advice on asset information management. You will also:

- Manage all data to be technically correct and valid, and formatted correctly
- Work with the team to set and follow KPI’s and expectations and be able to receive and provide feedback regarding this.
- Audit newly provided information to assure it follows information policies, standards and strategies
- Interpret and analyse technical information and retrieve research information for asset managers
- provide external and internal stakeholders with advice and reports, provide support for other users and assist with training and the development of user guidelines.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong teamwork values, providing direction to the team, giving, and receiving feedback. As well as:

- technically knowledge of Public Sector physical assets, analysis and management of asset information
- Knowledge of the principles and issues that comes with asset management
- Desirable to have tertiary qualifications within a relevant technical/information areas
- Very good communication skills, with ability to explain technical asset information to any audience

**What you'll get in return**
Rate is starting at $40 but is negotiable depending on experience. Initial contract is 4 months, potential for extension based on performance.
