Due to significant growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Leading Hand on a permanent full time basis.

The role will deliver landscaping (predominantly synthetic grass installations) across the Sydney area, whilst

overseeing the workforce and the day to day tasks of the labouring team.

As the successful incumbent, you will be accountable for leading and coordinating the day to day labour supply in

the execution of the operational activities with a strong emphasis on delivering on time projects with a high quality

standard, safe working practices and ensuring productive and efficient practices.

this is both a supervisory and a hands on role, your day to day task and responsibilities include (but are not limited

to):

- Supervise, coordinate and manage operational resources ensuring there is an effective plan to coordinate

the activities and resources to achieve objectives.
- Enact contingencies when the maximum utilisation of resources, assets or equipment is not possible
- Provide comprehensive reports and feedback on issues that may have arisen to the business owner
- Ensure adequate labour is rostered, aware of the site locations and managed appropriately for their shift.
- General landscaping and installation of synthetic grass/turf Base Preparation, earthworks
- Install timber/ steel or brick edging, drainage systems
- Construct Garden beds, retaining walls
- Drive the company truck(s) to the appropriate site locations
- General labouring, landscaping and site clean-up
- Base Preparation, earthworks
- Communicate with customers in a respectful manner

To be successful for the role you will possess the following:

- 2 years of sound operational experience and knowledge in a landscaping/gardening role
- Exceptional leadership abilities and demonstrated ability to develop effective teams, build positive culture

and drive change.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, liaise and interact at levels with internal and external

customers and contractors.
- Current class X drivers’ licence.
- Ability to work occasional weekends
- Willingness and ability to travel within NSW

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

- Christmas bonus
