**The Opportunity**
The Information Systems Coordinator is focused on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data set which is used to drive several customer information channels.

This role has an integral link to many areas of PTSA including Service Planning, Service Performance, Customer Service, Special Events and Disruption Management, as well as an integral part of the Metrocard Ticketing system and the Real-time customer information system.

The Information Systems Coordinator is required to work autonomously on day-to-day management of the data based on significant operational changes provided by several internal and external service providers.

This role works within PTSA, a division in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. PTSA is committed to providing'¯well-connected and customer focused services for mass transit movements that can be delivered safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

**About You**
To be successful in this role you’ll be able to demonstrate the following:

- Clear and effective communication across all levels, resolving conflict, contributing to positive negotiations, and ensuring information is accurate and timely.
- Sound judgement in evaluating information and making evidence-based decisions within your delegation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team under limited direction, planning and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- An understanding of how technology can improve efficiency and actively propose digital-by-default solutions.

**Qualifications/Experience**
An appropriate tertiary qualification (such as urban and regional planning, computer logic, or geographic information systems) is highly regarded.

**Special Conditions**
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

Some out of hours and weekend work may be required. Additionally, some intra / interstate travel may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO4 -$76,561 to $80,256 pa + superannuation.
