**Job description**

S. Antonio da Padova Nursing Home is looking for casual Assistants in Nursing to join our team. The roles primary focus is to deliver quality high-level care and assistance to residents of the home.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide a wide range of personal care services to residents
- The maintenance of a clean and safe environment for consumers and other staff of the nursing home.
- Practice duty of care, and promote personal safety and risk management
- The delivery of high-level care and assistance to consumers of the facility displaying at all times a flexible approach and a respect for the dignity and self-esteem of the consumers
- Provide support to members of the team including AIN’s, RN’s and Allied Health Professionals

**Skills and experience**
- Certificate III or IV
- The ability to work as part of a team and take direction as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Residents Rights, and Aged Care Standards and Outcomes
- Must have a current national police check or willingness to obtain one
- Must have Covid-19 vaccination as per NSW Health Guidelines
- Must have flexibility for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings

**Must have working rights to work in Australia**
