The Manager Business Insights & Analytics will provide market insight and performance analysis to forecast use of BMS brands as part of the team that generates and embeds analytics and insights into decision-making in Australia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish performance scorecard design with Key Performance Indicators for established and new brands.
- Report on findings with primary research, secondary data and competitor intelligence for monthly review.
- Support launch readiness effort and provide insights to support brand strategy
- Project management to tight deadlines and/or complex events.
- Deliver on brand forecasting responsibilities.
- Data quality assurance and checks required to ensure accuracy of output.

Leadership Responsibilities
- Connect within Business Insights and Analytics team locally and globally. Share local initiatives and learn other market innovations that can be activated.
- Lead the discussion with commercial, market access and cross function on market insights and analytics.
- Have the flexibility and willingness to be stretched and take on ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required
- Perform in-depth analysis on complex data and actual results; identify critical variance and communicate them to management with value-added suggestions
- Seek opportunities and bring innovative ideas to further improve commercial operation

**Qualifications, experience and competencies**:
In addition:

- Life Sciences, Business/Marketing or Data/Analytics/Computer Science degree.
- Experience in managing multiple projects that span geographic and/or functional boundaries.
- Proficiency in data analysis/display techniques and use of MS EXCEL. Desired experience in AWS, Tableau and other report building tools.
- Ability to complete multiple, simultaneous projects with mínimal supervision and prioritise incoming work appropriately.
- Ability to deal with unstructured, complex assignments/information that will require effective communication and negotiation skills to define and gain agreement on appropriate actions.
- Ability to leverage analytical skills required to process complex data sources, solve business problems and deliver tailored insights to key stakeholders aligned to business and brand objectives.
- Ability to individually, or in a team environment, deliver value-added business results that meet high quality requirements within tight deadlines.
- Ability to conceptualise and plan projects from start to finish to effectively manage and keep projects on schedule while adapting to sudden changes and shifting priorities.
- Ability to effectively communicate key information to middle managers and gain alignment for effective decision making.
- Preferred: Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
