**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join our WA Major Projects Delivery Team in the role of Specialist Project Delivery.

The role supports the WA Major Projects portfolio which develops and delivers major projects greater than $250million value for the iron ore and nickel assets. Reporting to the Lead Delivery for process infrastructure, this role will offer the opportunity for you to expand or develop your understanding of how major projects are delivered within BHP Iron ore, with the added exposure to works in the wider portfolio.

We are looking for a passionate individual to join the Western Ridge Crusher project, with excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement skills and a desire to deliver meaningful and impactful work. Working in a proactive and supportive team, you will engage your range of skills in the areas of problem solving, technical knowledge and stakeholder engagement to drive delivery effectiveness and value optimisation.

This is a Perth based role with intermittent site travel, noting that site travel requirements will increase as the project progresses. Flexible work options will be considered.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Contributing to the successful execution of scope through Definition and Execution phases, to enable the delivery of superior safety, scope, cost and quality project outcomes.
- Support the delivery lead with the development of key project deliverables in accordance with internal requirements and standards
- Pursue efficiency and value optimisation opportunities to enable contractor productivity and reduced capital outcomes
- Contribute to various assessments over the project lifecycle and actively review outcomes to ensure the proposed infrastructure can be delivered as intended
- Ensure risks are identified are actively managed throughout the project phases
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all contractors and operational teams.
- Contribution to the BHP Field leadership programme, safety initiatives and well-being of all others by actively understanding, identify and addressing observations throughout all aspects of the project lifecycle

**About You**:
It is important that you have experience working within a dynamic environment and have well developed stakeholder management skills. You will need to be proactive, outcome focused, an effective problem solver and a good communicator.

Exposure to general projects, materials handling, iron ore operations, heavy construction or similar would be beneficial. Tertiary qualifications such as business, finance, engineering or other STEM disciplines will be viewed favourable but not essential.
