**About the Role**:
JBS Australia is currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the corporate Group Finance team in a temporary full-time capacity for up to 12 weeks.
Based at Wacol, and reporting directly to the Assistant Treasurer, the key responsibility of this role is to deliver on a system upgrade initiative that will significantly improve the efficiency of the Accounts Payable team.
This opportunity will suit a goal focused, adaptable individual who enjoys working autonomously on repetitive tasks.
**Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:
- Ensuring all invoices are fully and correctly read by the OCR system.
- Ensure precise records are kept as evidence when training of OCR is complete and identify any issues that need to be rectified.
- Process all invoices within specified timelines ensuring appropriate authorities are in place.
**About you**:
- Previous experience in a similar high-volume Accounts Payable role
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take ownership and deliver on tasks within agreed parameters.
- Motivated, analytical thinker, keen to contribute.
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task.
