**Position Overview**: We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Canteen Staff. This role involves working predominantly in a kitchen with over the counter sales to students. If you have a background in food service, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve food items in line with our menu offerings.
- Handle transactions efficiently using the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the canteen areas.
- Restock supplies and manage inventory.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- Working with Children check
- Previous experience in a canteen, or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- A positive attitude and a passion for food.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.23 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
