**About the Role**

As an **Information Security Identity Specialist**, you’ll be at the heart of our identity and access governance efforts across the Virgin Australia Group. Sitting within the Information Security Team, this role supports governance, compliance, and audit functions, ensuring access to our systems is properly controlled, monitored, and reported.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maturity of our security framework, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to improve and uphold robust identity and access management (IAM) practices.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide governance oversight of identity and access management (IAM) across Virgin Australia Group
- Facilitate User Access Reviews (UAR) and Entitlement Drift Reports (EDR) to ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements
- Advise business stakeholders on UAR and EDR processes and best practices
- Contribute to operational security dashboards and reporting for effective control visibility
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on identity governance topics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with teams across the business to ensure security outcomes are delivered
- Actively seek feedback and refine IAM strategies to meet evolving business needs
- Work with the broader Information Security Team to improve overall security maturity
- Promote a culture of security awareness across the organisation
- Support internal education efforts around identity and access practices

**You’ll be great in this role if**
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to juggle shifting priorities
- Experience producing reports or dashboards for executive-level audiences

**Desirable**
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, cybersecurity, or related field
- Previous experience in business or reporting analysis
- Experience working in or with outsourced technical teams
- Familiarity with security technologies and IAM tools
