Project Support Officer needed to join a State Government team

**Your new company**

A State Government Department is looking for a Project Support Officer to join their team. This role requires you to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**

As an experienced Project Support Officer your daily duties will include but won’t be limited to:

- Contribute to the implementation of project and business improvement processes.
- Support the Project Managers and Officers with administrative support within the team.
- Assist with research and the development of reports for the Project.
- Manages incoming calls, correspondence, project mailboxes, team diaries, enters data
- and payments of minor accounts into organisational systems and minor budget tracking.
- Coordinates meetings preparing agendas, minute taking, distributing documents.
- Undertakes administrative work associated with records, data entry, invoicing and payment of accounts, photocopying and printing.
- Work with project teams and internal and external project stakeholders on the delivery of projects.
- Liaises with stakeholders where required
- Manage and coordinate stakeholder forums and events
- Maintain effective communication with project teams, clients, stakeholders and customers.
- Shows initiative to progress work
- Undertakes other duties as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated project management support experience and the
- Demonstrate the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of efficient project and administrative processes
- Excellent Microsoft Office software package skills
- Ability to adhere to publication and legislative standards.
- Ability to contribute to the achievement of project and team outcomes, individually and through collaboration and cooperation.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills with the
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service to both internal and external clients and liaise effectively with diverse individuals and organisation at all levels.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload within time constraints.
