**About the Role**:
As a Trade Assistant you will be responsible for contributing to other workshop activities, this will include Trade Assistant duties in the mechanical workshop. Duties will include but not limited to mechanical and servicing tasks, preparing and cleaning machines, fabrication, machine operation, assisting with warehousing and parts supply. Also an opportunity for formalisation of skills by way of apprenticeship for the right person.

**About You**:

- Mechanical or Fabrication aptitude would be advantageous
- Working with mobile equipment experience not essential, but highly regarded.
- Complete and assist with basic welding, oxy cutting and grinding tasks.
- Current driver’s licence
- Forklift ticket is desirable
- The ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
- Health and Safety focused.
- Strong Commitment to work
- You will be self-motivated, have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve and have the confidence, skill and knowledge to work autonomously.
