Doggy Daycare Manager

PAWPAWLAND:
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Doggy Daycare Manager to join our team at our Blackburn, VIC location. This **part-time/casual** position involves providing exceptional care and supervision for our canine guests throughout the day and deliver excellent serivces to the customers.

PAWPAW Land is a doggy daycare center Located in Blackburn, taking dogs of all shapes and sizes. We use positive reinforcement training. Ensuring all the pooches enjoy their day while having a safe environment is our top priority.

*Role Requirements:

- Supervising dog groups, monitoring behavior, observing and reading dog body languages, while ensuring a safe and positive environment
- Facilitating interactive and enriching play activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the facility to high standards
- Building strong relationships with pet owners, excellent communication and customer service skills are required
- Creating daily photos and videos to share with dog owners via social medias
- Reliable & Honest is a MUST
- Related experience is a MUST

*The right applicant would be able to:

- Availability between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM, at least 3 days between Monday to Friday, preferrably Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
- Comfortable handling large dog breeds and managing various canine behaviors
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Passionate about working with dogs and eager to expand knowledge of canine behavior
- Able to work in physically active work environment
- Open to participating in a lawful unpaid trial shift under supervision to demonstrate your skills and abilities (in line with Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)
- **Certificate II (or higher) in Animal Studies or equivalent experience (essential)**:

- **Applicants with a valid dog training certificate or relative experience will be highly regarded**

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
