**How will I help?**
This Manager position supports the Finance Director and Senior Manager in delivering financial planning and analysis, performance reporting and meaningful insights on both revenue and direct expenses to the BT Strategy & Product business.
The successful applicant will be responsible for forecasting and reporting of revenue and expenses, monthly GL close, KPI analysis and business partnering for BT Panorama and Investments products. While there are no direct reports, it is expected that this role will be providing leadership and coaching to the more junior members of the team.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly review of P&L, and preparation and posting of journals to enable the month end close process.
- Support balance sheet integrity by attending monthly working groups and liaising with Finance Shared Services as required.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc analysis on BT Panorama and Investments revenue, direct expenses, and FTE for Finance Directors and GM1 providing insights to assist business partners to understand composition and drivers, and the ability to influence those drivers in order to optimise performance.
- Own the delivery of monthly management reporting to GM and GM1s providing insight on actual performance against targets and forecasts including volume/rate analysis and outlining risks and opportunities to full year Target; and maintain and develop reports and supporting models as necessary.
- Prepare financial information for input into the Annual Outcomes Assessment (AOA) for superannuation products and bi-annual Product & Services Lifecycle (PSL) Reviews as required.
- Work collaboratively with Finance colleagues to foster a culture of learning with a relentless focus on continuous improvement.
- Support design of future state finance processes through identifying simplification and automation opportunities and building solutions.

**What do I need?**
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or equivalent, Professional qualifications desirable CA, CPA
- 4+ years’ experience in an accounting environment including experience in business partnering or financial planning & analysis within the Wealth Management space
- Working knowledge of TM1 and Oracle GL
- Previous experience in management reporting and financial modelling
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Understanding of performance drivers within the wealth management industry
- Working knowledge of wealth management industry (preferably in Superannuation or Platforms)/ products / channels.
