**The Division**

The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.??

**The opportunity**?**

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join the Program Management (Metro Projects) Tech & Innovation team in the Intelligent Systems branch to perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

This is a **Fixed full-time position (up to 2 years)**, reporting to the Senior Manager Program, (Metro Projects). We’re a small team and work in a hybrid way with a mixture of working from home and in the office - based at Redfern.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Provide a range of project management and support services
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs
- Prepare complex correspondence, briefing notes and reports in relation to specific projects, initiatives and issues ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely and have appropriate signoffs
- Assist Program and Project managers with aspects of IT project planning, delivery, and financial management
- Model collegiate and collaborative behaviours to achieve the greater good for the community, celebrate a diverse workforce, create an environment where people can innovate and thrive, and support people’s wellbeing

**About you**
- You’re an experienced, self-driven Project Officer with a technical aptitude or background in IT (or equivalent field). This gives you an advantage to seeing the bigger picture on projects and delivering great outcomes.
- You are detailed in your work product, experienced in writing reports, communicating and building relationships with a myriad of stakeholders across different sections of the business.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7A ($106,086 ) - 7E ($118,816) per annum plus 10% superannuation and leave loading.
