Our Positive Behaviour Support Model encompasses the multidisciplinary expertise of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to understand the drivers of behaviours from a communication, sensory and environmental perspective.

An opening has become available for a Behaviour Support Practitioner living in Melton or very closeby to**join our professional and friendly team.

Thanks to our commitment to service excellence, demand for our services continues to grow. We will consider an entry level practitioner (i.e. someone with a sound knowledge of The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework for reducing the use of restrictive practices) OR an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner, who also has a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will...
- Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Famework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
- Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
- Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions and strengths
- Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support our clients - family, carers, friends, etc

**About you**
- Current suitability (i.e. registration) with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner OR considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern (professionally and/or personally) and confident that you will meet all compliance checks to legally work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a registered NDIS provider (e.g. obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check)
- Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Confident computer skills
- Flawless writing skills
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle

**Qualifications**
- Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred
