The Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar (CEO and PR) assists the Chief Justice in the management of the business and administrative affairs of the Federal Court of Australia, and ensures the provision of corporate services for 2 federal courts and a tribunal. This Executive Officer position plays a key role supporting the CEO and PR and managing the operations of the Office of the CEO and PR.

A strong focus on a commitment to excellence is at the forefront of all decisions therefore maintaining robust systems and processes, managing engagement and ensuring timely follow-up of all priorities is paramount. The Executive Officer will be expected to provide accurate and timely advice to key stakeholders across the organisation and be proactive in ensuring the effective operation of the Office of the CEO and PR.
The Executive Officer will also work collaboratively with the Director of Principal Registry and other staff to manage the Court’s judicial induction program, including being a key liaison to newly appointed Judges.
