We're seeking an experienced **Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor** to lead a dedicated team of trades, drive reliability improvements, and champion safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a Monday - Friday position working with the day shift team.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this hands-on leadership role will see you:

- **Lead and support a team of fitters, boilermakers, and kiln car maintainers** (8 direct reports)
- **Drive daily maintenance operations** to maximise plant uptime and equipment reliability
- **Manage contractors, spare parts procurement, and compliance** with WHSE standards
- **Contribute to planning, scheduling, and execution of major shutdowns** and project work
- **Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement**

**What We're Looking For**

You're a strong and supportive leader with a passion for getting the best from your team.
- **Mechanical trade qualifications** (fitter, boilermaker, etc.) - engineering degree highly regarded
- Previous **experience** in a **maintenance leadership role**, ideally within heavy industry or manufacturing
- Strong **technical understanding of rotating equipment and mechanical systems**:

- **Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred**), planning/scheduling, and contractor management
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
