**Your new role**

This Manager, Education Design will manage 5 direct reports and lead a newly created, multidisciplined area of this Vocational Education organisation, tasked with delivering industry-leading student outcomes. In this position you will be responsible for outlining a courseware framework to manage consistency in its lifecycle, ensuring industry readiness through fit-for-purpose educational delivery. Further to this, you will be tasked with:

- Provide strong leadership to the wider business area, manage the budget and contribute to key governance activities in the team including the development of policies, systems, procedures and training.
- Plan and assign work within the team to ensure the delivery of business requirements, balance the workload of individual roles and optimise the use of individual capability, resources, processes, systems and tools.
- Manage product performance by providing expert support to the area in managing the courseware lifecycle.
- Monitor relevant industry changes and legislative requirements, anticipating the potential impacts that impact the broader business, and providing recommendations and options for leadership as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Demonstrated success in leading a multidisciplinary team within an education setting will be combined with your experience in educational pedagogy and courseware development. This will be supported by:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and a passion for education strategy.
- Proven experience leading programs and delivering quality learning and teaching frameworks within large organisations.
- Advanced understanding of VET Funding contracts and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.
