**About You**
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and detail-orientated superstar who has experience in marketing and is eager to learn. This role will suit someone who is jumpstarting their career, looking to come back into the field after a hiatus, or looking for a new opportunity in the world of marketing. You are a hands-on player who is proactive and always thinking outside of the box. Passion and love for Mexican food is a must
**About the Role**
The Marketing & Design Assistant plays a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the business and will need a keen eye on future growth. Reporting to the CEO and Marketing Manager, this role will own the design aspect of all digital and traditional media for the franchise.
**Day-to-Day Activities**
- Website & SEO
- Graphic design
- Photograph products (menu items, restaurant locations, etc.)
- Update website content
- Increase our brand awareness online through crafting exciting digital marketing strategies
- Follow brand guidelines to design and create promotional materials and social media posts
- Support with reception duties
- Background in an integrated marketing role with heavy emphasis on both traditional and new media practices
- Experience in marketing on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Keen eye for design and creative detail with use of programs such as Canva and Adobe Suite
- Significant knowledge of digital and traditional media landscape required, as well as good working knowledge of branding and PR
- Print production knowledge an advantage
- Great presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Proactive and creative thinker
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge/experience in restaurant/hospitality industry helpful
- Intermediate computer skills i.e Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CRM software
