Designer | VIC/ NSW locations or Remote working - 12 month contract
We are currently looking for talented and experienced creatives to step into a high profile Designer role within one of our brands; Jockey, Berlei or BONDS in the BONDS Group Your role is to continue to elevate the brand and provide newness and innovation into ranges. You play a key support to the Brands team, especially at Sell-In, so you must be a confident presenter and able to articulate your ideas and ranges to external Buyers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include
- Contribute to the brands' creative direction
- Implement and execute seasonal assortment plans and design briefs
- Colour and print expertise
- Stay connected to relevant current and future research, trends and technologies
- Hands on design including fabric selection, fittings and prototype sampling
- Collaborate and develop strong relationships with cross functional teams to prepare quality presentations and sales tools for internal range showings
- Execute design projects with guidance of Senior Designer
- Use creative forecast services, magazines, colour authorities, websites and market analysis to assist in providing information for trend directions, story boards and project work

Essential for success is
- An innovative and creative approach to design
- Inspirational team player capability
- Proven track record in the organisation at Designer level, or minimum of 3-4 years' experience at Design Assistant level, and ready for a big step up
- Expertise across activewear, underwear or sleepwear highly desired
- Ability to drive future design projects from concept through to execution
- Comfortable working autonomously on projects, whilst also able to take the lead where required to support the broader team in kicking some serious design goals for Jockey
