**The Company**

Our client is a well established and market leading distributor of Asian food products across Australia. Established 40+ years ago, this family owned business is located in Dandenong South and they distribute a wide variety of food and beverage products to major customers.

**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Merchandiser/Sales Representative to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon your professional sales career.

This position is responsible for the successful management and implementation of company strategies, inclusive of cycle objectives in nominated accounts.

Responsibilities include:

- Call cycle of accounts
- Build rapport at store level showcasing company product range
- Build off location display
- Ensure ranging and promotions are adhered to, and planograms are correct
- Effectively manage cycle execution and all aspects of local area marketing and territory plan
- Provide industry and product knowledge to retailers
- Provide market intelligence back to the Sales team
- Run in-store demonstrations
- Execute all aspects of brand and trade strategies at store level

**Skills and Experience**
- Relevant experience as a merchandiser, sales representative, territory manager or similar
- FMCG or consumer goods industry exposure beneficial
- Good computer skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel)
