We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Lifestyle Assistant. The Lifestyle Assistant will be responsible for supporting and participating in the planning and provision of individual, group and community activities according to residents' individual assessed physical, social, cultural and spiritual.

Our focus is on each individual resident's needs and choices, via our staff becoming an extended part of the resident's family, by building strong professional and meaningful relationships, with the aim of ensuring every resident has their best day possible.

**Key Requirements**
- Qualifications in Leisure and Lifestyle or similar (Highly desirable)
- Minimum one years' experience in a similar role within the Health Care or Aged Care environment with exposure to residents with Dementia
- Effective communication skills with residents, representatives and staff at all levels
- A passion for working in Aged Care and Lifestyle
- Ability to work with a team and excellent customer services skills
- Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office

**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**

Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must complete an NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an International Police Check if you have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

**Mandatory vaccines**

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged to receive the flu vaccine. All successful applicants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
