**About the Role**

As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant (female), you will be providing personalised home care support to older Australians in **Queanbeyan**and surrounds so they can continue living independently in their own homes. You will travel between clients’ homes, so a willingness to travel is essential (you will be reimbursed.99c per KM travelled while you are working).

We have a Casual opportunity with shifts available between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and no evening or overnight shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to make a positive impact in their community, while developing their skills and building a career.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Domestic assistance such as light house cleaning and meal preparation
- Personal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing
- Community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Provide support with daily tasks and routines
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similar
- An Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
