**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Centre Manager, QUT Centre for Justice to join School of Justice, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice, Academic Division.

The Centre Manager provides leadership and management of the Centre’s core operational activities, working closely with the Director and other senior leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Centre’s vision and objectives. The Centre Manager may also be required to participate in or conduct research in areas relevant to the Centre’s programs of research under the supervision of the Director. The Centre Manager will lead and have responsibility for managing the operation of the Centre, delivery of administrative services, project delivery support and all operational matters. The position has operational responsibility for the Centre’s budget. As the administrative lead within the Centre this position is required to engage on the Centre’s behalf with offices in the Research Portfolio and the Administrative Division of the University as required to execute the effective operations of the Centre.

**About the QUT Centre for Justice**
The QUT Centre for Justice is a Tier 1 QUT research centre, representing a priority area of research for the University. It is a think tank for social justice that aims to empower and enable citizens, consumers and communities through solutions-oriented research. Our vision is to democratise justice by improving opportunities for health and well-being and enhancing the inclusiveness of work and education while widening access to justice. Our applied interdisciplinary research is led by experts from thirteen relevant schools across five faculties. It contributes to the democratisation of justice through partnerships built on collaborative and inclusive research methodologies.

You will demonstrate:
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a postgraduate qualification, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications together with relevant experience in a research environment.
3. Ability to connect with and maintain strong, credible relationships and collaborations with stakeholders and the wider community.
4. Demonstrated high level written communication skills including the ability prepare marketing content for external audiences.
5. Demonstrated high level administrative skill including knowledge of financial administration and budget planning and the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities with mínimal direction.
6. Demonstrated ability to undertake research tasks.
