**EXPERIENCED MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST - PART TIME (2-3 days per week - preferably Tuesday & Thursday with third day by negotiation)**

We are a leading specialist practice located in the North Shore Health Hub in the St Leonards Health precinct. The practice includes 14 experienced physicians and a respiratory function lab, providing clinical services for sleep and respiratory disorders. We also offer services by a sleep psychologist, speech pathologist, respiratory physiotherapist and dietitian. **Your role**

You will be focused on ensuring the smooth running of the practice each day and be supported by the Practice Manager. It’s an amazingly diverse environment and you will be an integral part of the future development and growth of the practice.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Providing an outstanding level of customer service to patients and other health professionals.
- Efficient management of patient data, appointments, procedures, clinical files, correspondence, and accounts using Genie medical software and Microsoft Office.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with all team members, external stakeholders, hospitals, and allied health providers.
- Providing admin support to the Practice Manager.

**Essential Criteria**
- Previous medical administration experience or general admin/clerical experience.
- A professional appearance and telephone manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer typing skills.
- The ability to work under pressure in a busy clinic both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintaining excellent attention to detail and meeting daily deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, show initiative.
- High standard of work ethic - self-motivated, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Takes pride in work with a positive "can do" attitude.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
