**About our Centre**:
Buttercups Wandi (Honeywood) is a beautiful new purpose-built Centre boasting wonderful features including large nature play spaces, a piazza-style dining room, a calming aquarium and a dedicated programming room, providing a nurturing and stimulating experience.

We are located in the Cockburn area, just a short 1-minute drive from the Kwinana freeway and just minutes to Aubin Grove train station, Cockburn Gateways and Harvest Lakes Shopping Centres.

**The Opportunity**:
A Room Leader must provide a high-quality educational program in a fun, safe, warm and positive environment. For the right applicants, they may also have the opportunity to act as a Responsible Person at times when the Centre Manager is absent from the Centre, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration ensuring the provision of high-quality early childhood education and care to children and their families. The right person will also be required to be flexible in their full-time working hours and be able to share the role of opening and closing of the Centre.

The position reports to the Centre Manager or Educational Leader, who is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Centre and implementing the strategic direction set by the Executive Management.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Relevant Qualifications as approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards is essential.
- Experience in leadership and mentoring skills.
- You must hold a current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check, up-to-date immunisation and Police Clearance.

**Desirables**:

- Good computer skills
- Previously held the position of Responsible Person
- Food Safety Certificate
