Choice Consultancy is experiencing a period of growth and as a result, we are currently looking for passionate and reliable Disability Support workers who can commit regular hours to support people in their own homes.

**This Position**

We are looking for someone who can support a vision impaired lady who loves to talk and enjoys a few casual outings. Looking to find someone who loves to chat over coffee, and who can drive as our client would like to be taken out on occassions. We would like someone who can commit to a weekly schedule on Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm.

There is a second job on offer in Double Bay if you can sew, knit or crochet. This job is for 4 hours a week and is flexible with times.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be **chatty and has patience. ** You will have excellent communication skills and strive to have a positive impact on the well-being of our clients. Ideally, you will have experience of working with disabled people in the past but not compulsory.

You must also bring;
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and be able to work autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in individual or disability support (ideal but not compulsory)
- Access to a fully maintained vehicle, and a valid driver’s license
- Be fully vaccinated as working with vulnerable people
- Current police check

**How to Apply**

Applicants will be required to provide a current (12 months or less) National Police Check and Working with Children check prior to appointment and be fully vaccinated.
