As Workshop Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our workshop’s success—coaching your team, managing day-to-day priorities, and ensuring our fleet is serviced, maintained, and ready to meet customer needs.

You’ll work closely with the Regional Service Manager and Area Manager, aligning workshop output with operational targets and customer demand.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of technicians and trade assistants
- Fostering a strong safety culture and promoting best practices
- Providing technical guidance on diagnostics and servicing
- Overseeing fleet maintenance schedules and workshop productivity
- Building relationships across internal teams and with external stakeholders
- Planning repairs and services aligned to customer needs and fleet availability
- Contributing to cost-effective operations and ensuring optimal asset uptime

**What we’re looking for**:

- A mechanical trade qualification (desirable) e.g., Heavy Diesel, Fitter, Automotive or Mobile Plant
- Previous experience managing a workshop team (highly regarded)
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and performance
- Confidence in planning, time management, and cost control
- Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Office
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills
- Familiarity with equipment hire products (desirable but not essential)
