Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the North East of Melbourne and state-wide. **Ward 7 North is a 24 bed renal ward, co-located next to the Central Dialysis Unit (CDU).**
**Admission is through the Emergency department, clinic, Satellite Dialysis Units & CDU, or as direct admissions.**
**We specialise in all aspects of renal failure, including dialysis & transplantation.**
**The Patient Services Assistant (PSA) role requires you to**:
- Clean: dust, mop, wipe high touch points, vacuum etc
- Washdowns: post d/c or movement of infectious patients eg: VRE or COVID
- Food services: serving patient beverages, changing water jugs, maintenance of pantry areas
- Waste collection
- Patient movement
- Errands
