We are now seeking a professional and enthusiastic** HR Agitator Driver / Relief Batcher**.

**This full-time role will be based out of one of our Newcastle Concrete Plants.** Once trained in batching, travel may be required between plants within the area.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about safety, results focused and has a strong work ethic. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential.

**In your new role with us, you will be**:

- Operating and maintaining a concrete agitator truck and deliver concrete to our customers.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational concrete plant batching duties including loading trucks and associated yard works.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure efficient operational needs.
- Raw material stock control, stocktaking and ordering.
- Front end loader duties to maintain plant raw materials supply.
- Pushing and pulling of loads, including operating concrete discharge chute
- Ensuring the designated vehicle is roadworthy and mechanically sound.
- Operating the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner to and from designated sites
- Having sufficient working knowledge of the product to comply with relevant delivery standards.
- Passing on customer feedback back to the batch plant and sales team
- Ensure all products meet 100% total quality requirements and all plant and equipment are maintained and working properly.

**To be successful in this role, you must**:

- Have a valid HR License
- Have a current copy of driving history.
- Front end loader competencies desired but not essential as training will be available.
- Be comfortable with use of computers and operating systems, training will be available.
- Have a Construction Card (White Card) or willing to get one prior to starting.
- Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Be an effective communicator and have the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Base hourly rate of $31.97 - $36.34 per hour, plus super, overtime penalties and allowances**
- Weekly pay and 1 accrued RDO per month

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Hanson premises.
