CDAETS Newcastle currently has a vacancy for a Storeperson / Driver to join our great team.

We want an enthusiastic and engaging Storeperson / Driver that wants to progress their career within a professional, growing and supportive team.

**About the Role**
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment delivering quality service to both customers and colleagues.

**Location** - Newcastle

**Hours** - Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

**Responsibilities include**:

- Licensed operation of forklift
- Warehousing duties, including checking incoming goods, receiving them into the operating system, identifying customer orders, putting stock away.
- Site deliveries/collections to various site
- Planning and driving the most practical route
- Interacting professionally with customers to deliver/pickup goods
- Keeping any vehicle or equipment in safe and clean condition
- Picking and packing of customer orders
- Accurate completion of the relevant paperwork
- Assisting with stock counts
- A moderate user of Microsoft Office and general IT skills

**For this role, you will also need the following**:

- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
- Current Australian Class C driver's licence
- A forklift Licence is essential
- MR license is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse/Delivery Driver
- Be comfortable with IT / Computer Skills, and have a high attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Have good time management skills and a proactive work ethic.
- Desire to succeed and learn new things.
- Comfortable with working autonomously.
- Be a team player, trustworthy and keen to work hard.
- Be physically fit and comfortable with being on the go throughout the day and capable of picking and packing up to 25kgs as and when.
