Production & Process Workers - Coopers Plains

We have an exciting job for experienced Machine Operators - working with supportive management that stands behind it’s employees. People are treated fairly and we have supervisors that provide great training.
- Location: Coopers Plains
- Hours: 12hr shifts over a fortnightly roster - day & nights
- Duration: Ongoing with potential to go perm
- Pay: $35.40p/h flat rate, with overtime when working above the roster.
The big question is, what will you be doing?
You will be working under your team leader and will be involved in all aspects of Plastic Pipe Production, working on, and operating large extruder machines, operating Coilers, Stackers and using an overhead crane. You will be using various other hand tools and an electric strapping tool to secure the product in specially built pallets. Operating the Forklift and performing quality checks will be a daily part of your VERY varied role
**If you are right for this role, you know we need people with**:
Proven experience operating machinery on a busy production line
Forklift License OR experience operating a forklift and the willingness to obtain a license
A mechanical mindset and willingness to learn new skills
A high regard for safety is essential of course
Willingness to workday/night shifts and weekends
Ability to lift weight up to 30kg
Full and correct PPE
As with all important roles like this, it is essential to be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and provide/obtain a current Police check
