About the opportunity- Provide quality resident-focused and utilising a person-centred approach- Effectively supervise residents care- Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families- Undertake personal care and engaging residents with lifestyle activities

To thrive in this role, you will have:
At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Personal Care Assistant, you'll make a genuine difference when it's needed the most.- Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health- Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care- Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information- Preferred availability during the evening, overnight and weekends.- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.- A current NDIS Workers Screening check.- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
