The Aged Care Industry is desperate for good people to join its workforce. The biggest need is in Home Care, providing support to people living in their own home with cleaning and companionship. You will be helping someone to care for their home and the heavier tasks that they can no longer do themselves.
To join our team you do not need any previous Home Care experience but you must be able to demonstrate your personal values in line with Home Care Society's values ie. honesty, respect and compassion. The position does have role and industry requirements to ensure we support people in line with the Aged Care Standards. Our Purpose Description sets out these requirements and is available on request.
This role is based on a very personal approach so you will be matched to clients that you will see regularly, no swapping with other staff and no travelling long distances to cover shifts. Home Care Society is about getting us all involved as a society to make Aged Care great again. It's going to take really good people that have never been in Aged Care, but care that ageing well is important. Be Well, Live Well, Age Well. Together, We're Better.
