**Job Summary**:
As the Demand Planner for Hill’s ANZ you will work with our local Commercial Team, Global Supply Chain and customers to provide best in class service.

You will be empowered to develop a sales forecast and will represent Hill’s ANZ Supply Chain in the local S&OP process.

Leading the planning team you will work with our Global Supply Chain to achieve service level goals while maintaining inventory levels within agreed targets.

You will be responsible for the timely supply of new products to meet our customers’ requirements.

To achieve this you will be trusted to demonstrate clear communication skills, innovative problem solving ability and to develop strong working relationships.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Customer Collaboration**
- Work with customers to improve forecast accuracy, improve availability and logistics performance
- Review customer stock on hand / sell-in / sell-out data to identify areas of urgency and opportunity
- Identify cost saving and improvement opportunities in the customer Supply Chain
- Work with customers on new product and promotional planning

**Demand Planning**
- Collaboration with Hill’s CDT in AU and NZ to develop and agree a demand plan for the Region
- Responsible for Forecast Review process and CS&L input into the Monthly Discipline
- Ensures adherence to Demand & Supply Planning horizons and monitors demand plan accuracy, case fill & inventory metrics.

**Supply and Demand Synchronisation**
- Leading the Planning Team
- Work with Global Supply Chain to synchronise supply and demand
- Engagement with local stakeholders to ensure early communication of LTOS and appropriate measures to reduce impact
- Implement stock allocations where limited stock is available
- Manage inventory to meet Financial and Service Level KPIs

**Demand Monitoring**
- Assess daily and weekly sales against demand plan and highlight exceptions
- Work with CDT to ensure short-term forecast variability is assessed and managed
- Work with Global Supply Chain to update forecast in APO as required

**NPD Planning and Execution**
- Collaboration with Marketing and CDT during the planning of NPD
- Responsible for communication with customers and internally on the availability of NPD
- Reporting on NPD performance and opportunities after launch
- 3 plus years’ experience within a FMCG or Pharmacy Supply Chain. This experience should include Demand Planning or Supply and Demand alignment
- Track record of driving improvements in the customer experience
- Qualified with a Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience utilizing SAP/APO or other relevant ERP/MRP/Demand planning software
