**Global Work & Travel **is one of the world’s leading online youth travel brands. Born on the Gold Coast and now operating in 6 countries, we’re growing again and looking for an experienced Travel Consultant/Sales Rep to join our team in Varsity Lakes.

As the name suggests, we provide young people with experiences to work & travel abroad, from working holidays in Canada to teaching in Italy and volunteering in Costa Rica and 50 other trips in between, we also help with visas and offer tours, flights and travel insurance. Established in 2008, we have helped over 60,000 people to see the world as more than a tourist.

There’s an opportunity for a **motivated Sales Rep/Travel Consultant **with experience in revenue collection to fill this upcoming full-time role and work within our Travel Department.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing quotes to customers departing on overseas trips
- Collecting payments for all travel services
- Providing exceptional customer service to all clients
- Upselling and cross-selling insurance, tours, accommodation and more
- Consulting with customers participating on our many overseas trips
- Meeting revenue targets
- Assisting with escalated bookings and complaints
- Running morning meetings
- Driving revenue within the team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in the travel industry or well travelled
- Ability to collect money over the phone
- Ability to upsell
- High attention to detail
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

**Salary**: From $52,000.00 per year
