**THE SCHOOL-BASED APPRENTICESHIP**

Have you ever pulled apart an engine just to put it back together again, or have you ever wanted the chance to change from working on your car to something a lot bigger? Don’t have much experience, but are looking to get your foot in the door in the mechanical industry? Becoming a** Mobile Plant Technology Apprentice** could be what you are looking for

Undertaking this part-time** School-Based Apprenticeship** will give you the opportunity to become a trade qualified Mobile Plant Technology and earn your (AUR31220) **Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology**.

You will be trained to repair, service and maintain a wide variety of heavy earth moving equipment, collecting parts and cleaning machines and the workshop. You will get the chance to work with experienced tradespeople who are passionate about what they do.

Our host employer is CJD Equipment based in **Acacia Ridge** and is a nationally based company that distributes a wide variety of construction equipment and large trucks.

**WHO SHOULD APPLY?**

You will be a team player who has a mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn and commit to a School-based Apprenticeship. Previous experience is not required, however if you have gained a Cert 2 in Automotive in school or have a background in working on machinery perhaps around a farm is a plus.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Demonstrate a genuine passion for your chosen trade
- Driver's licence and own vehicle
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to pass a Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
- White card (Not a requirement)
