**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and support the buying and retail functions for VF Brands as a Buyer’s Assistant. Reporting to the Buyer you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration tasks for brands including Vans and Timberland, providing support to the Buyer and wider VF team, including wholesale. Attention to detail is key for this role, with product set up, data entering, presentations and reporting all being complete in a timely and accurate manner.

Key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

- Regular reporting including trade reporting and retail store reporting surrounding markdown lists, SKU reports, and exclusive product.
- Manage pricing in system, including markdown actions provided by Buyer/Planner.
- Manage store communication, including weekly indent release.
- Assist the Buyers with developing a range selection and product grading in line with business and consumer needs.
- Support with pre-analysis and reporting, range roll up and sign off preparation.
- Attend range showings, preparing all documentation as required and providing follow up notes to all attendees.
- Manage and maintain monthly marketing templates and indent buy plans.
- Key and raise all buying department purchase orders.
- Manage EDI responses to bulk orders raised.
- Work with cross functional departments (Logistics, Product, Marketing).

**To be successful you will ideally have**:

- Demonstrated previous experience in a similar retail buying assistant or trainee buying role.
- Proficient in Excel - analysing data, data entry and managing reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate with various stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to create, plan, monitor and execute multiple reports.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
