Casual English teacher needed at Big Lemon Education (大柠檬私塾)

We are a small education business located at Upper Mount Gravatt. We provide online tutoring (and ocassionally F2F sessions upon request). Due to the growth of our business, we are seeking an English teacher meeting the following criteria:
1/ Holds a **qualification **to teach English (e.g., with a **TESOL certificate** or a tertiary **Degree in English); **as well as abundant teaching **experience**;
2/ Has basic spoken/written **Mandarin **(as 98% of our clients are Chinese expatriates); and can respond promptly on **Wechat** (an instant messaging app that we use);
3/ Holds a current **Blue Card **and **ABN**;
4/ Great with technology (especially **Zoom/Microsoft**);
5/ Familiar with **NAPLAN **and/or **ATAR ** and/or **IB**;
6/ Committed, efficient and **punctual;**

The main tasks of the position include:
1/ Preparing and delivering lessons to school-age students;
2/ Assigning homework/follow-up exercises;
3/ Responding to students' questions, if any; and

4/ Giving feedback on students’ performance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual
Part-time hours: 5-25 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
