**Description**:
Good Drinks Australia is seeking a skilled Brewery Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Palmyra Brewery. This is a Permanent - Full Time position that offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our operations. As a Brewery Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our brewery equipment and machinery. Your main tasks will include:
- Performing routine maintenance on brewing equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Conducting regular inspections of machinery and identifying areas for improvement or replacement
- Collaborating with the operations team to schedule maintenance work without disrupting production schedules
- Adhering to health and safety protocols while carrying out maintenance activities
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs, replacements, and scheduled servicing
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives by providing valuable insights into equipment performance and reliability
**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a maintenance fitter in a brewery or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs for production machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with other departments as needed
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices in a production setting
- Trade qualification or relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or similar field
- Forklift license and experience operating heavy machinery (desirable)
