Our client, an industry leading body analysis company, is on the hunt for an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing team.

They hold the distribution rights across Australia and New Zealand for devices sold within the medical, fitness, and allied health industries.

**The Role**:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day and strategic operations of the business. Reporting to the Director, your overall strategy will include:

- Increasing revenue, especially in the corporate sector
- Ensuring sales and supply goals are met
- Improving the customer experience
- Improving product training
- Growing a productive team

On a day-to-day basis, you will ensure the smooth and effective running of the business and team where no two days will be the same. Your responsibilities include:

- Overseeing recruitment and training of new employees
- Ensuring employees work productively and develop professionally
- Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Helping promote a company culture that encourages top performing sales team and high morale to reach sales goals
- Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing
- Evaluating and improving operations and financial performance
- Preparing regular reports for management
- Assisting management to set budgets and sales goals
- Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the company
- Building alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
- Planning and executing conferences and expos

**About you**:
You will be trustworthy, enjoy sports science and ideally have a background within the medical sales industry. You will also have:

- Proven experience in management, operations, and leadership
- Previous sales experience with medical devices/tech
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional people management skills
- Outstanding organisational and time management Skills
- Ability to maintain quality standards
