The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an experienced administrator to join the Operations Team as a School Officer. This role is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of administrative roles, function and services to the School staff and operations.
The portfolio of responsibilities may include teaching and learning administrative support; assets; purchase orders; clinical placement administration; event coordination; student travel; research administrative support; and Committee support. This position will suit individuals who are selfmotivated and thrive on working in a busy and complex work environment.
You may be asked from time-to-time to cover tasks outside of your portfolio.
Experience in providing administrative support within a large organisation;
Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures;
Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with mínimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes;
Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Experience with coordinating events (room bookings, catering, scheduling etc)
Experience with committee support would be an advantage

Benefits & Remuneration
These positions attract remuneration of $74,435 - $79,279 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
