**Introduction**:
Join Cater Care as a Catering Assistant (Cold Larder) at an aged care facility in Eastwood. This is a great role for someone who has experience with hands-on food prep, working closely with a Chef Manager, and enjoys having their afternoons and weekends free.
Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
32.5 hours per week - no weekends, no night shifts
Work in a structured, supportive kitchen team
Ideal for someone who values consistency and care in their work
**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Eastwood
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
