**Yard All-Rounder / Shunting / General Maintenance Person**

Busselton Freight Services (BFS) is a busy logistics and transport Company with a significant part of our business activities operating out of the METCASH Distribution Centre in Canningvale.

If you are looking for a role to transition away from long term truck driving but still able to use your acquired skills this could be the position for you

With the retirement of our long term General Maintenance person we have an opportunity to offer this position to a person who has the following skills
- General knowledge of basic mechanics
- HC Truck Licence - with experience
- Forklift ticket

Duties include
- Identifying damage to fleet and carrying out minor repairs
- Trailer shunting
- Load trailers
- Refueling equipment
- Keep wash bay, maintenance area and container clean and tidy.

This a full time position with early morning starts. The successful applicant will need to have a current police clearance and successfully pass a Pre
- employment medical including a drug & Alcohol test

**Salary**: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Canning Vale, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
